Ever Want to Catch Them All?
Whether you remember playing the original Pokémon Red Gameboy Game, didn’t see it until the Pokémon Fire Red version for Gameboy Advance, or only recently got on the scene with one of the 3DS versions, a lot of people have spend time trying to find all the Pokémon that they can. I know a lot of people have wanted a more 3D open world version for the Wii or Wii U but that probably won’t happen for quite a while if it ever does. What if you could be the one catching the Pokémon though? OK. That’s not actually going to happen but the next best thing could be on its way in 2016. Some people may be familiar with a cell phone app called Ingress where you find points in the real world where there are “portals” that you try to take over for your side of the “conflict”. The concept of the upcoming Pokemon Go will be similar. You’ll be able to track down “Pokémon” in the real world through an app actually created by the makers of Ingress. From the ad released on it looks like you will be able to find, capture, trade, and battle Pokémon. I have to say that I’m looking forward to this. Check out the video released Wednesday about it below.
