Where is the fun?

A friend recently posted on how he missed the fun of old titles like Young Justice. There was a lot more fun in the pre-New 52 universe. The current DC universe is so serious, as if it’s trying to be the Marvel universe with DC characters. I miss titles like Impulse, Young Justice, Star & S.T.R.I.P.E. (Anyone remember the Dial H for Hero stories in Adventure Comics and in other back-up stories. That was fun.) Even stuff like Flash and such had lighter moments. I really don’t see that much anymore. It almost makes me want to stop buying current comics so I have time to just sit and read the old stuff. It is getting way too tempting…
